1) Water Meters

The best way to determine if there is a leak in your home is to use a water meter. Turn off all water supply to the house. Then, wait at least 30 minutes before you use it again. The second step is to look at the meter. Note the current numbers. A leak is obvious if the starting number goes up after 15-30 minutes despite it being turned off.

2) Cooling Systems

Have you ever thought to check your AC for leaks? Even if your cooling system has been updated, it could still be leaking water. A broken refill valve could be the cause of water leaking from the cooling system onto the walls or floors.
