  • Repetitive strain injuries (RSI): These are caused by repeated motions or positions that cause pain and inflammation. Examples of RSI include working at a computer all day, doing repetitive exercises at the gym, and carrying a heavy purse or bag.
  • Rotator cuff injuries: These are typically caused by overuse or inflammation in the rotator cuff muscles. These muscles are located around the shoulder joint and help to lift and rotate the arm.
  • Tennis elbow: This is an inflammation of the elbow joint that is often caused by playing tennis.

Tips for Preventing Pain

  • Stay hydrated. Drink plenty of fluids throughout the day to keep your body hydrated and flush away any waste products that may cause pain.
  • Get enough rest. As much as possible, try to get a good night's sleep and avoid staying up too late. This will help your body heal and reduce the chance of developing pain in the future.
  • Avoid abusive activities. If you're prone to experiencing pain, avoid activities that cause you pain or stress such as over-stretching or heavy lifting. Instead, try lighter exercises or exercises that don't require a lot of strength or stamina.
